I samarbete med Olearys på Heron City kommer det hållas tävling den 24/3 2012. Följande gäller:

PROFFS:

Top 8 svenskar på order of merit i europa året innan bjuds in till tävling om ett förstapris på 10 000 kr. Endast förstapris i pengar men andra ting i andra och tredjepris. Mätning i proffsklassen sker med Game Changer eller Trackman. Övriga klasser i ordinarie simulatorer.

Endast Open ( de 8 högst rankade svenskar som anmält sig den 31/1 är med i tävlingen, rankingen avgör startordning i omgång 1).

Nu är det dax att registera sig Aldila World Matchplay Championship 2012. Denna tävling går även i år på Orresta golf.

Swedish Open Matchplay Championship 2011

Welcome to Orresta the 28th of August for the first SOMC. You don’t need to registry before just show up 1 hour before start and registry .We have done a couple of players event this year but felt that “why not add a little prestige to it”. Hopefully it´ll grow in the future and sustain itself every year.

We are doing Open division and if at least 3 players ladies and seniors (45). Entry fee Open is 1000SEK where 750 SEK goes back to prizefund. Seniors will cost 500 SEK where 300 SEK goes back and same for ladies.

Since we have no sponsors this year we ask players to bring their own ones. We have a couple of dozens from previous events but it´s good to have reserves. It may be necessary to help out a bit but hopefully we have a few gridworkers, not sure yet.

Format is matches played in best of 3 sets, 6 balls each set. In case of too many players we may need to limit to 4 each set. One round of ranking with 8 balls to determine ranking. The event will count on the European Ranking by APG with a full value x1.

The event starts at 10:30

It is now 1 weeks left to register and pay 2500SEK to enter the World Powergolf Matchplay Championship. April 30th will be the last date to register at that fee.

After that, entry fee will raise to 4000SEK until May 15th which is the last date to enter the event. To register and pay, mail larsa@uddalabygg.se and learn more about it.
Seniors who wish to double in the Open and Senior division just pay entry fee to both divisions.

World Powergolf Matchplay Championship 2011

After much consideration we have decided to publish this as a start for a new event.
World Powergolf Matchplay Championship will be hosted by Orresta GC, 45 min from Stockholm Sweden, July 21-24th 2011.
It WILL be the second largest event in LD, only behind RWLDC.
As the name says, it´s matchplay format straigth through, with day 1 seeds all players, day 2 round 1-2, day 3 Pro-am, day 4 Finals.
Divisions are Open, Seniors 45+ and Ladies.
More information will come January 31st at the latest. The reason being that we won´t promise anything that we can´t back up. At the moment we are halfway of where we want to be financially. We will not reveal more on that until January 31st.
This will be the 4th time we host a bigger event, not this big though, for Marcus another big one after doing a great job with European Indoor championships and numerous other LD events. In 2010 we became the first live event in LD and have always prided ourselves with a good organisation and taking care of players.

This tournament is now live and you can hit at Fullswing golf venues all over Sweden, Europe and around the Globe.

You qualification is decided monthly with prize money accumulating througout the year, as the prize fund grows competition will become more intense for the qualification spots.

The dates and venue are confirmed the longdriveseries final is on the 6th of October 2011 at www.stokeparkgolfclub.com with the nearest the pin finals taking place the day before.

This tournament is great value with 160 balls priced at 75 EUROS! (This is the maximum entry available and would give you 10 sets x 8 balls at longdrive AND nearest the pin) - entering nearest the pin even as a longdriver is worthwhile as qualifiers will have their flights and 3 days accommodation paid for as well as winning a round of golf on the 5th October on Stoke Parks famous parkland course during the charity golf day in aid of www.visioncharity.co.uk organised in conjunction with UK Longdrive.
