World Powergolf Matchplay Championship 2011
After much consideration we have decided to publish this as a start for a new event.
World Powergolf Matchplay Championship will be hosted by Orresta GC, 45 min from Stockholm Sweden, July 21-24th 2011.
It WILL be the second largest event in LD, only behind RWLDC.
As the name says, it´s matchplay format straigth through, with day 1 seeds all players, day 2 round 1-2, day 3 Pro-am, day 4 Finals.
Divisions are Open, Seniors 45+ and Ladies.
More information will come January 31st at the latest. The reason being that we won´t promise anything that we can´t back up. At the moment we are halfway of where we want to be financially. We will not reveal more on that until January 31st.
This will be the 4th time we host a bigger event, not this big though, for Marcus another big one after doing a great job with European Indoor championships and numerous other LD events. In 2010 we became the first live event in LD and have always prided ourselves with a good organisation and taking care of players.
